IRISAN is the barangay that has 33 purok and the biggest barangay entire Baguio City.Irisan was from the word Idisan which means a wood which to grind something to make it fine.Irisan means also "Bayanihan". The original settlers were the families of;Luna,Alvarez,Smith,Bugnay,Oseo,Maganes,Binay-an,Doshong,Copero,Gayduin,Mang-os,Gabol,Saguid,Menecio,Tacloy,Ingosan,Catalan,Tacay,Cutay,Salda and others.
